Verdi’s Otello is the pinnacle of Italian opera, one of the few adaptations of a Shakespeare tragedy which is equal to the play. From the opening chords to the last fading notes, the music propels the drama of Otello’s relentless descent into jealousy and madness.
Sung in Italian with English supertitles.
