Skagit Symphony’s 44th season opening concert begins reaching for Stars, a gem of a tone poem by Mary Howe, followed by a celebration of Rachmaninoff’s 150th birthday with his towering second piano concerto at the enchanting hands of Sandra Shen. The concert concludes with Mussorgsky’s legendary Pictures at an Exhibition.
Pre-concert talk in the concert hall 45 minutes prior to performance.
The Skagit Symphony offers a 4 concert season subscription. The same seats are guaranteed for each
performance, plus subscribers have the option to add on 2 special events.
