Skagit Symphony’s 44th season opening concert begins reaching for Stars, a gem of a tone poem by Mary Howe, followed by a celebration of Rachmaninoff’s 150th birthday with his towering second piano concerto at the enchanting hands of Sandra Shen. The concert concludes with Mussorgsky’s legendary Pictures at an Exhibition.

Pre-concert talk in the concert hall 45 minutes prior to performance.


The Skagit Symphony offers a 4 concert season subscription. The same seats are guaranteed for each
performance, plus subscribers have the option to add on 2 special events.

This event is also part of the Create Your Own (CYO) Series. CYO gives you the freedom to choose all the shows that you want to see. Simply select at least 4 events from the CYO list & SAVE! (Some restrictions may apply.)
