Sundaes & Drumming – what could be better on a Saturday afternoon!?
Children will engage in the arts through this hands on interactive workshop. Learn the basics of drumming, elements of music,
rhythm, dynamics, and communication through world rhythms and music games using a variety of instruments and techniques.
Mary Ellen Hodges, M. Ed., is an experienced children’s music educator who specializes in the use of rhythm instruments for
dynamic learning. Her classes ignite all areas of child development including intellectual, social and emotional, motor, language and literacy, helping the body and mind work together.
Workshop is recommended for children ages 7 – 12. No experience or instruments necessary. Parents are encouraged to observe.
Be sure to stay for the Ice Cream social following the workshop.(Included in ticket price.)
Parents may purchase a sundae only ticket.
