If you don’t play the ukulele but like to sing\, play another instrument – you are welcome to join in\, or just come to listen\, enjoy sweet treats\, or sing along. \nWe’re all a work in progress\, so all levels are welcome. \nOur goal is to have a great time playing music together. \nSheet music will be emailed to you in February so you can practice before the Jam! \nTickets   All sales are final at time of purchase.

DESCRIPTION:McIntyre Hall Presents \nCincinnatus Duo & Friends \nSunday\, March 22     2:00pm \nThe fourth concert of the Masterworks Chamber Music Series features Michael Wheatley\, violin\, and Barb Hunter\, cello ~ the CINCINNATUS DUO. Cincinnatus Duo will be joined by Hannah Strickland (violin)\, Casey Mullin (viola)\, and Sophia Chou (piano). The concert features masterworks by Kodaly\, Mahler\, Brouwer\, and Mendelssohn. \nMichael Wheatley and Barb Hunter met each other in the Skagit Symphony\, where Dr. Wheatley serves as Music Director and Ms. Hunter is a member of the cello section\, both hail from Cincinnati\, Ohio\, where they began their musical studies in the local youth programs. Dr. Wheatley and Ms. Hunter both attended the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music\, after which their paths diverged. \nThe intimate Masterworks Chamber Music concert takes place in the Studio Space at McIntyre Hall.\nPatrons are encouraged to enjoy refreshments during the concert. DESCRIPTION:McIntyre Hall Presents \nSolas \nFriday\, March 27     7:30pm \nSolas is celebrating thirty years of holding traditions and pushing boundaries!\nSolas is hailed by The Boston Globe as “the finest Celtic ensemble this country has ever produced” and The Wall Street Journal as “an Irish traditional band bearing all the marks of greatness.” Since forming in New York City in 1995 they have been a galvanizing element in the Irish music scene – a lightening rod of talent and inspiration that set new standards for musicianship\, repertoire\, and intensity. Over the course of twelve critically acclaimed albums and endless international touring\, Solas brought their love and respect for the traditions of Irish music\, and their sense of melodic and instrumental adventure to the world. In 2017\, after a remarkable two decade career\, Solas decided it was time for a break. After eight years\, the break is over and Solas is back and ready to celebrate their 30th Anniversary in 2025.
