DESCRIPTION:North Cascades Concert Band \nFall Concert \nSunday\, November 22    3:00pm \nSince the era of John Philip Sousa\, the concert band has held a distinguished place in American musical life\, serving the public through performances that both educate and entertain. Sousa established an enduring model for presenting audiences with a broad musical experience\, bringing together the popular music of the day and works drawn from the classical tradition. \nThe North Cascades Concert Band (NCCB)\, under the direction of Peter Blau Ormsby\, proudly continues this tradition. As a community wind ensemble\, NCCB brings the vitality and artistry of live music to audiences throughout Western Washington and the Pacific Northwest. The ensemble is composed of more than 60 dedicated volunteer musicians from across the region and presents a varied repertoire that includes classical\, contemporary\, and popular works for concert band. \nTickets TBD  Water bottles\, outside food & beverage\, backpacks\, and large bags are not permitted.
