Giuseppe Verdi’s final opera, written at age 80, Falstaff is a comic masterpiece based on Shakespeare’s “ Merry Wives of Windsor”. Full of wit and charm, it is the brilliant and fitting culmination of Verdi’s theatrical and musical genius.

Sung in Italian with English Subtitles.
Pre-concert lecture in the hall 45 minutes prior to performance.
