The Theater Arts Guild production of Disney’s NEWSIES, a musical based on the Disney film. Inspired by the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899, Newsies addresses the age-old struggle of David-versus-Goliath as
the young learn to harness their power against the corrupt newspaper giants. The story follows charismatic Jack Kelly and his ragtag team of newsboys who, with the help of some new friends, form a union and “seize the day!” This high energy production is non-stop thrills with beautiful music and dancing that will leave the audience wanting more!
